Tai Chi has many benefits to the practitioner.

It has been said that Tai Chi reverses the aging process! The seemingly simple and slow movements improve your coordination of breath, relaxation, and movement. Doing this increases your core strength which is a benefit to all, however, it has amazing benefits to the elderly whose muscle mass has decreased over the years causing less balance and weaker legs, hips, and core.

Many of the benefits of Tai Chi and Yoga are the same, however yoga tends to work from the knees in many cases and Tai Chi stays on your feet. Again, this is better for eldery who have trouble with bad knees.

Tai Chi is a non-impact exercise and easy on the joints. It is great for building strength in the legs, flexibility, and cardiovascular and respiratory systems.
Based on how you train Tai Chi, either a low, middle or high gate, it can be a great workout for men and women of all ages!
